Hi everyone, we rarely have the resources to help mixes, but Emmy Lou touched our hearts and we took her in from an animal shelter that was overwhelmed with the dogs in their care. Emmy Lou came in to the shelter as a stray. We estimate her to be around 3-4 years old. She is great with dogs, but thinks cats are play things, so we we are seeking a home for her with no cats or small animals. She does well with older children. While Emmy Lou's exact parentage is up for debate, she does have a hound howl when super excited by something. It's not often, but clearly she has an ancestry that also includes the hound family! Emmy Lou is being fostered in Clare, MI. Emmy Lou is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to go! I am Emmy a sweet Weim mix that shows the Weim side much more. If you are seeking a wonderful lady to have by your side that would be me. I love to cuddle and give hugs while spending time with my people. I am not asking for much beyond a loving hand and a couch to share. I would prefer a quiet home as I do not like loud noises. Gun shots and hammers pounding scare me a little. Please do not let this make you think twice about me as I make up for it in other aspects. I am crate trained and can be found lounging on my blankie when not on the couch with you. I try to mind my manners and am being taught some leash manners but need a little more help. I find car rides to be a wonderful way to spend some time together.
